What is it to Convey….
Words, images, vessels, messages, ideas, medium, language, people, meaning, light. We can be conveyed to another time or place.
In times so troubling as these it is important to convey truth regardless the volume or where it may land. The record will stand, and that recorded effort will encourage others to convey their message as well.
It is not the goal of this exhibition to rewrite history but to acknowledge histories not written. The seven women artist in this exhibition are each uniquely connected to the theme of Conveyance. They all bear the weight of the times we live in. Strongly connected to the past, they continue to convey truth forward.
