Central Art Garage is celebrating its first anniversary. Just over one year ago we took on the challenge of converting a former mechanics garage into a contemporary art gallery.  Over the course of that year the Gallery presented 3 exhibitions that garnered critical praise from both the media and the arts community.

To mark our first year we are holding an exhibition and party. The theme of the exhibition is ONE.  We are asking some artists that have not shown work with CAG previously to submit one object -based work. The work can be new or existing, large or small. The work will be displayed on plywood plinths and plywood shelves throughout the gallery. The idea is to have simple sparse presentation allowing gallery goers more time to contemplate less work.
